I was excited to purchase and receive the hummingbird perch for my Birs Reel feeder, but was immediately disappointed when it arrived. You have to remove the perch that comes with the bird teal feeder, and replace it with the hummingbird perch. The hummingbird perch has a compartment for hummingbird sugar water and has traditional perch so that birds can continue to eat seed from the bird reel feeder. Here’s the problem. In order to refill the sugar water in the hummingbird compartment area of the perch, you have to unscrew the entire perch and take it off the feeder entirely. Clean it, reassemble, and then fill. Whoever designed this should have made the sugar water feeder removable so that it could be easily cleaned and refilled. After using one time, I have removed the hummingbird perch and will not use again. A waste of money.
