Dean & Tina are proud owners of four Wild Birds Unlimited stores in the Denver area, which is what helped them fall in love with the joy of bird watching. They purchased their first store in Denver in 2020 and have since built another store and purchased two more. They are currently working on new stores in Thornton, downtown Denver and Boulder. 

Dean has 25+ years of experience in product and technology development in consumer products, financial services, payments, point-of-sale, e-commerce and IOT (internet-of-things) applications. Dean spent 6 years at Amazon leading two different global business units. He led the global Amazon gift card program before transitioning to the Alexa Smarthome team where he led the Dash Replenishment business.

Dean is an avid inventor with more than 50 patents to his name, primarily in biometrics, point-of-sale systems, e-commerce, international money movement and payments. He has leveraged this product invention expertise to build the BirdReel bird feeder and companion mobile application to be the best solution in the marketplace.

Dean and Tina live in the foothills of Denver where they enjoy their backyard bird buddies, including American Goldfinches, House Finches, Hummingbirds, Red-winged Blackbirds, Red-Tail Hawks and more. Now they can watch their feathered friends at any time with the four BirdReel cameras they have installed in their backyard!
