Our team is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated Technical Support and Operations Manager to join our mission.

Position Overview:  

As the Technical Support and Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in the satisfaction of our customers and the efficiency of our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include handling technical support calls to assist customers with our Smart Bird Feeders and Houses, as well as managing the operational aspects related to order packing and shipping to our wholesale and retail customers. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, customer service excellence, and operational prowess. Hours for this position will be from 9AM - 4/5PM weekdays. This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Handle and manage technical support calls and emails, providing troubleshooting assistance, resolving issues related to the use, setup, and functionality of BirdReel Smart Bird Feeders and Houses.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Follow up on customer queries and manage communication through resolution.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the packing and shipping process for all orders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery to both wholesale and retail customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control, including stocking and organizing products and supplies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure product knowledge is up-to-date and to provide feedback from customers to improve product development and support.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. This is essential for managing operational tasks that may involve travel or transport.
  • Proven Written and Verbal Communication Skills. Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with technology, capable of learning and understanding product specifications, and able to convey technical information in an accessible manner.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly assess a situation and identify and implement solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional planning and organization skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Able to adapt in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality.
  • Experience: Prior experience in technical support, customer service, and/or operations preferred.
